The DZ Songbook...
 

Hey, those of you who own a songbook, take a look at the song called "What Do You Go To College For?". Tell me what you think...

I don't have a song book...how do the words go?

YES! BGSU-it's basically saying "yeah, we're here to learn, but even more, we are here to play and have fun and find a man..."

That is too funny...although, I didn't go to college to find a hubby, I do like the part about getting "A's" for "play"...and personally, although I am in law school, I could live without a career--as long as my dh made enough to hire a housekeeper and a cook and a nanny, etc. Nah. I'll take the career.

My songbook is a 1962 edition. Wonder if this song is still in the newer ones? Great way to get a historical perspective on DZ.

The edition I have is the 1962 as well. I think that's the last time they actually published one! We need to get them updated, along with the webpage which could use a facelift.

How would one go about obtaining one of these here Song Books? Actually, I think there might be one on the piano in our chapter house...but it's locked for the summer. :(

You can order one from National HQ. I don't know the cost -- your song chairman probably has an order form somewhere though. If nothing else, just e-mail HQ and ask them how you can get one sent to your chapter. :)
