SAI songs
 

Which songs from the songbook do you actually use? Do you have any other songs that are not in the book. I have decided that most of the ones in the book are cheesy...what do y'all do?

Well, we of course use the Chorale...our pledge class this spring did "So Near, So Dear" for our musicale, which was really pretty.
Some of the older songs are actually cool, but the newer ones are, well....cheesy:rolleyes: Just go thru and find a couple you like!

Hmmm...at Xi we only ever used the Chorale, and maybe one or two songs out of the book that I can't remember, except that one that's sung in a round and ends "We are SAI." My big sis wrote a song for our chapter that was very cool, but I don't know if anyone outside Xi has ever heard it.

Well, we sing the Chorale 2 and 4 part, So Near So Dear, The Whistle Song (cheesy), Inspiration Boogie (vomitously cheesy!).

I am just curious as to what else is usable since we haven't read through all of the songs in the book to tell which ones are worth the trouble. Well, I am graduating next week, so it doesn't matter all that much, but just curious anyway...

Okay, so maybe I am a big nerd, but I am sitting here picking songs to put into Finale so that I can hear what they sound like with all the parts together...So far, Rose Petals sounds really pretty. You should try that song! More updates later.
