GC Convention
 

Since I be the King,(GOOD TO BE THE KING) of the Convention Committee, I have given this a lot of thought! Especially from what many of my Greek Brothers and Sisters are doing!

We can try to have one major Meeting in Kansas City which is in the Middle of the Almost Known World OR?

Have Regional Meetings at designated Parts of the Country!

So Far, I have 2 members on teh Committee who are the Wendi and Wendy Girls! Both AGD! One in Raymore, Mo, ( a Burb of KC and one in Atlanta ( Georgia ) If you are not sure where that is.


Because of what the situation of Time, Money, and the Home Security for flying,
I propose that we have Regional Meetings.
If that is the case, i need Representatives of areas around the Country who can run the area meetings and report back all of the fun you had in meeting each other.

I will find my 1942 Map and break it out so that certain areas will be able to travel via Auto mobile to meet!

My first Vision was to take over the Ritz Carlton but thought well maybe the Motel 6 to have our convention at! 4 to a room to split cost!

We have NO Budget ( well does that sound familiar ) for travel expenses.

I will need some imput for those that want to be area coordinatoers for certain Regions.
Let me know so we can get going!

I think that we should have regional conventions. For almost everyone, it would be cost-friendlier. :)

Perhaps we could have a national convention further, further down the road.

I would love to head up a meeting. I'm here in Toronto, Canda. Which is pretty much the center of Canada, if not the universe (hee hee hee)!!!

I am all about it!! :D I lie the idea of the meetings and the convention. I would love to attend. :) I also agree with SATX*Aphi about the futher, futher down the road convention. LOL

Well, if I end up moving to England this summer, I suppose I could head up the Great Britain delegation. Wouldn't be too hard, as far as I know, it's only me and kittyuk. ;)

ANYTHING to get me out of OKC for even a couple of days!

I'm smack dab in the middle of Arkansas (Little Rock to be exact). I am 5 hours away from OKC, Dallas, a little closer to Memphis, etc.

Hey ktsmake, I go to OKC often. . .Mom lives there (in fact I'm going next weekend to help her move).

While I CANNOT be a regional coordinator (too much other stuff going on right now), I can be of some small assistance.

Tom, maybe you can get a report from the Membership Committee a report on where everyone is located (from the Membership App), and plan from there.

I'm near Altlanta, too! Even closer when I got to work.;)

We could have a Southwestern Region! For those of us in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, etc... or, the fabulous GC'er's of Texas could just have our own!! (I'm kidding ya'll). :p

I'd be willing to help coordinate something!
