Who's Going to Convention 2002???
 

Hi Sisters,

I'm going to my very first Convention this summer and it's sure to be a wonderful experience -- especially since it's our Centennial Year! :)

Who else is going this year?

I won't be going, but we'll definitely be celebrating our centennial! I'm excited to hear how it goes...make sure you give us the details.

I am excited about going. I am going as the Web Tech Alum consultant, which is the first time I am going as a DZ guest, but the second convention for me. I went to the Indy Convention in 1993 and loved it all! :D

I am staying in the Best Western with some other Surfing Sisters :) And I will be at the SS party/luau with bells on! Yay!

I'm going yea! Probably only to the Alumni day because its free to everyone. I'm originally from Cincinnati so I'm less than 45 minutes away. I know the girls from my chapter are so excited! I can't wait to meet all of the other DZ's. It will be so awesome and Miami is an absolutely beautiful campus. If it wasn't for my sisters I would be there definately.

I wanna go too. Why did TTU's Panhellenic have to break my heart & spoil my only chance of going??? :( :( :(

Go on your own, Andi! That's what I'm doing. :) It turns out that it's only costing around $55 for the Convention events that I'm attending (Friday and Saturday stuff). My hotel is cheap b/c I'm sharing with another sister, and I'm fairly certain we'll end up renting a car and driving.

My total cost is looking to be about $205 -- not including souvenirs that I buy from the gift shop and gas for the ride up and back! :)

There is a medical emergency (kinda) with our chapter president, and none on the vp's can go - so, me, treasurer of my chapter, is going to represent everyone all weekend - i'm so super excited!!!

I just officially registered a couple of hours ago. I'm so excited!! I cannot WAIT for July to come around!! Now all I've got to do is rent a car, pick my DZ sister up from the Atlanta airport and head up to Ohio! :D :D :D

she's fine - there has been a planned surgery for like a year now - and it falls the week before convention, and her doctor said he wouldn't clear her to go (she's upset) but still - i was planning on going this year no matter what, just a bonus that my chapter will pay for me!
