Why does Ohio suck?

Question of the day:

Why does Ohio suck? I have lived here for almost a year and a half and I have found nothing good to do within driving distance...

That's why I moved away in the first place...... :) what part of Ohio AOX81?!?!?

FuzzieAlum 04-30-2002 11:55 AM

I love Ohio! I'd go back if I could get a job there.

I live just outside of Mansfield.

juniorgrrl 04-30-2002 01:18 PM

I'm 99.9% sure its because its north of the Mason-Dixon line

:)

Well said. I am a firm believer in toll booths all along the ohio river so we can charge the buckeyes when they come and invade us on the weekends. Dont yall have any water in that state that you guys can go to?

Mansfield? That's why.... There is nothing wrong with Ohio.. but after 18 years there.. it's time to leave

AOX81 04-30-2002 04:29 PM

I spent my first 24 years in Michigan...mental note to self, ditch husband, move back...JUST KIDDING!

This thread reminds me of a joke that one of my sisters told me the other day...

Why is Michigan shaped like a hand?

So it can reach down and bitch-slap Ohio

Okay, that's all I wanted! :)

Hey! Be nice. I grew up and went to college in Ohio. It's a lot better than most of the places I've lived since.

Your problem ain't Ohio -- It's Mansfield. Not a whole lot around there.

I have to say that "Cleveburg" weather is horrible. Growing up in the South, it was quite a shock to have heavy snow in October through May.

On a positive note, "University Circle" in Cleveland is so wonderfully rich in culture- it has Severance Hall (home of the Cleveland Orchestra, one of the top orchestras in the world), Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History as well as Case Western Reserve University all in the same area. I would love to visit the area again one day!

As a Pittsburgh resident, I am obliged by city, county and state laws to say: Cleveland. ;)

FuzzieAlum 04-30-2002 08:11 PM

Heyyyy! I object! Now Pittsburgh, well, just look at it's name!
:D
