I ATTEND A SMALL SCHOOL AND THERE WAS A NEW ORGANIZATION THAT GOT STARTED ON MY CAMPUS.FROM WHAT I CAN TELL THESE LADIES ARE ABOUT BUSINESS,BUT MANY OF THE SWEETHEARTS OF THE FEMALE GENDER ARE HATING ON THEM.I'VE HEARD IT SAID THAT IF THEY STARTED THE ORGANIZATION ON A WHITE COLLEGE CAMPUS THAT THEY WOULD BE ACCEPTED BETTER,BUT,BECAUSE BLACKS CAN'T ACCEPT CHANGE THAT THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON OUR CAMPUS.I PERSONALLY FEEL THAT THE PEOPLE WHO HATE ON THESE LADIES ARE JUST JEASLOUS BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY SWEETHEART TO GUYS AND THE LADIES WHO ARE GREEK DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE THEM AND THESE LADIES ARE STARTING THEIR OWN HISTORY,THEY WILL HAVE FEMALES LEARNING ABOUT THEM.THE ONE THING THAT I DO KNOW KNOW IS THAT THESE LADIES ARE NOT GREEK NOR DO THEY CLAIM THEMSELVES TO BE.THE LADIES THAT ARE GREEK ACCEPT THEM BETTER THAN THERE OWN PEERS.DO YOU THINK THAT THEY DID THE RIGHT THING BY STARTING THEIR OWN ORGANIZATION?

It seems like organizations (whether GLO or not) get started up, and then prosper, if there's a void to be filled. If there's sincerity of purpose, sisterhood, devotion to the effort, then why not? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif More power to those ladies. When (not if) they have survived, and established themselves, and are firm and proud in their tradition, they will have no equal. For they will have survived the toughest opposition of all, that of their peers.
