I personally do not write or speak greek. I am in a sorority called Alpha Sigma Alpha and since those are greek letters I just say that I am "greek" but I do not live in Greece. And just about every sorority affliliated woman I know would call herself "Greek" because of her sorority affiliation but she does not live in Greece. Hope that cleared things up for you.

In this forum we are all women. If you go to another forum on the site you be talking to all guys and then if you go to another forum you will be talking to both women and guys.

I'll try not to Sheila :p Yeah its a hangout on the internet for people in fraternities and sorororities to come chat online with other people in fraternities and sororities. All of us in this forum are in the same sorority, so we get to meet people in the same sorority but if you go to other forums there are people from different sororities and fraternities. We get some actual greeks sometimes but mostly it's just men in fraternities and women in sororities. Oh and to answer your question about whats exactly this place about. It's a hangout but also a person can come here to tell others what they went through to join a sorority (a process called recruitment formerly known as Rush) so others read our stories and cheer us on. Also, if for example your fraternity or sorority puts a person in charge of some event, that person can come on these forums and ask others who have planned and been in charge of the same event what have have done and get ideas on what to do for that event. Since I have been on the boards I have learned a variety of things that I would have never known before. Also, I would have never known most of these sororities existed and I would have never met people that are in them if I would have never came to this website. So basically, it's a hangout and a learning experience all in one for people in sororities and fraternities. You ought to go read some other forms to learn about how fraternities and sororities work. I think you may find it interesting. Well this is getting rather long so I will end it here.
