History Question
Did Phi Mu ever colonize outside of Georgia as The Philomathean Literary Society? I was reading an article on the first women admitted to Pitt, and there was mention of the Society. I think that Phi Mu was one of the early sororities at Pitt, and I was wondering.

From what I could find, they changed to greek letters before establishing a second chapter, much like adpi did. Looks like the name change occurred in 1904.

The Philomathean Society at Pitt might have been just a literary club. There was one by that name at Penn that was started in 1813.
