I Hate Moving
 

I just had to vent I absolutley hate moving, it is the worst thing in the world!!!! I hate packing everything up and moving to my mom and dads only to wait till August to move in to my apt.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god i hate moving!!!!!!!!!!!

I just moved last month... still haven't recovered fromt he trauma....

i know I'm weird, but I love moving.. especially somewhere new! Don't get me wrong, packing everything up and carrying big heavy furniture up and down stairs all day really sucks...but I think it's so fun to have a brand new place and find new places and looks for all of your old stuff!

Oooooooooh, how I hate moving!!!

I am going home this weekend to take a load of my stuff. The 'rents are coming up next weekend to take the big stuff and as much small stuff as they can fit. A few days later, I am leaving home with all the stuff that is left.

I do not like it; I do not like it!!! But you have to do what you have to do. :)

When I moved out of my lil's and my place it was January, cold, icy, snowy and I had to do it on my own. It took me ALL frigin day to pack and move things between houses in my lil' geo. Then that night I finally recruited the help of a few guy friends and my dad's mini van to get the big stuff! What a pain!
From 2001 to today I moved a total of 4 times! ICK! Now Will is talking about a different complex when our lease is up! I'm dreading it cuz we live in a 3 story apartment!

I am moving in 3 weeks. I am seriously considering burning all of my posessions and living outta a backpack. Finally after about 10 moves I decided to give tons of stuff away. I piled everythign I didnt want in the middle of my living room and let my friends and brothers AFTER IT. Most of the stuff they took was shit, but they wanted it because it was free. Does seem funny to go to keiths place and see my grandmothers lamp in his living room, or to Luci's and see my grandfathers TV table, or to Ken's and see my Aunt Ruth's canister set. Hahah.

You can spot the freshmen in an instant. They are happy to move, and are excited about it, "oh yay, next week I get to move into my new place." I am looking at Katie like she is on crack. You can spot a first time mover a mile away.

I hate moving too! When Art and I moved to Tallahassee, I told him that we're staying here for a while....I can't stand moving all the time! We moved from Halifax to Toronto in April 99, Toronto to Dallas in January 00, Dallas to Tallahassee in November 00......all using U-haul or similar moving styles (from Toronto to Dallas we hired a company that we packed the stuff on the truck, they drive it to the location and we unpack it!) We've been in the same apartment now for a year and a half (and we'll be here another year, we just signed a new lease!) so I'm happy! I hate climbing stairs with furniture and crap, packing all my stuff up, the whole moving thing....it sucks!!!!

I feel for y'all that are moving in the next few weeks!:)

I completely understand!!!! I just moved to Georgia and am staying with my GRANDPARENTS until I start my new job and get my own apt.

My sister moved in with me. Three years later she found some boxes that she still hadn't unpacked. It was like Christmas. She found a bunch of cute outfits that she had completely forgotten about and increased her wardrobe. :p

DITO!!! I think the worst thing about moving is adjusting all your stuff to the way you like it again, and again...

Packing, unpacking suck but I am glad I moved to my new place.:D

I think what I hate the most is I am moving out of my sorority house into my mom and dad's and than in august to my apt, that is 3 moves in 3 months.... I don't think I will even unpack. plus I am a little nervous about the apt, I have never lived on my own, and I am not sure what I need to get... argh I just hate packing and moving it totally sucks !!!
