I don't know how the heck I ended up here, but apparently, I have been registered for like 2 years...probably before these msg boards even existed! LOL..

Anyway, my name is Annie and I'm an alumna from Univ. of Florida, PC 1985. Yes, that's back in the days when pledging lasted a whole semester - actually longer. I got my bid on Aug. 31 and was initiated on Jan 18. So I dont wanna hear you younguns complain about your quick 6 week pledging!! :D

I am also the geek who started the KD Online newsletter about 7 years ago - long before HQ even had an email address, much less a website. I think I've linked to the website for the newsletter, so you can read the details there.

Well, just wanted to say hi. Don't know how often I'll visit this area, but I hope it won't be another 2 years!!! hahahaha!

Yes, I "remember" you - with a name like that, you're not easy to forget!

i'm glad you enjoy the newsletter...i think it's pretty cool to see what's going on with everyone -- chapterwise & personally. My favorite part of it is when people use the newsletter to make connections, like either to find an AA or to find an apartment or a job. Once in a blue moon, people write in to share their experiences...wish they'd do it more often!
