Ok so why did my hair stylist leave the color on too long and now my hair looks like christmas tree lights!?!?http://www.plauder-smilies.de/crying.gif I have to wait two weeks before I can do anything to it...:o Thank god I have hats!

Awww SoRHOr, I feel ya pain girl. I had a bad experience with hair color too. My hair was so loud my classmates called me sunshine. It was loud!!! I put braids in my hair until the color grew out.

Sorry about the hair color mishap! The good thing about hair color is that just last for a short while and before you know it the wild color is gone!

Well, I have to admit after the initial shock, I laughed a little. [very little] But I do have lots of hats. At this point I'm just glad my hair didn't fall out.

I thought about it but I need her to fix it. :)See, she's given me highlights b-4 and everything came out ok but this time...oh the horror...No charge and she'll fix it for free. She's been my stylist for around 4 or 5 years now. Aside from this, every thing she's done has been great.

Sorry to hear of your hair misfortunes, but at least you didn't have a Tina Turner/Oprah situation on your hands or anything. I am also sorry that I missed you at the Regional Conference. It was really nice, especially the special induction. Beta Psi cleaned up in the awards department!

I feel your pain! A few years ago my stylist (sp) tried to send me out of her shop with Cherry Cola hair. I don't think so!

That's why a sista does her own color now.:mad:

I believe that you caN still put a rinse in your hair to make it look llike it is all one color.

Soror, I'm sorry that you had hair that resembled Christmas tree lights. :( I'll admit that I laughed, too. I colored my hair Ruby Rage (not Crayola red, but it's very red). I think I left it in a little bit too long because my afro looked orange at one angle, pink at another, and it came close to fuschia. :eek:

It seems that you're being patient. I had to remind myself that patience is a virtue, and before I knew it, the color had straightened itself back out. Just rock those hats in true Sigma style, SoRHOr!
