sweethearts and doves, etc
 

What are the roles of sweethearts, doves and such? I have heard some negative things about them. Is it a given that a Sigma dove will become a Zeta? Or do the Zeta's look scornfully at the doves, and as a result not want to be associated with one. I am neither a sweetheart, dove or Zeta, but I just was curious abouut the relationship between the sweethearts, doves, etc, and the actual greek organizations.
Also note that it is defintely not my intention to offend anyone. I really would like to know more about them, how one becomes one, and how others feel about them.
