Sweethearts sporting fraternity brands?
 

A soror just emailed me some pics and in them were the sweethearts of a fraternity, and these girls had the brand commonly seen on the members in this frat, on various parts of their body (i.e. cheeks and I don't mean the ones on your face, and upper thigh area) is this common practice for sweethearts to be sporting fraternal brands? Personally I thought what the heck were they thinking but am I the only one that finds this to be quite wrong?

I find it STUPID....okay, pc..SHORTSIGHTED.

I also so those pics and was disgusted. I don't understand why members of that organization would allow those women to brand themselves with a letter they hold dear. What is the world coming to?:eek:

That was an abomination and abberation and the situation has been dealt with. That nonsense is not sanctioned by any true member of our org. It is an isolated situation pertaining to 2 chapters. Those pics are also not recent although they have been circulating lately.

I saw those pics too. I can't believe that anyone would go that far considering that they are not a part of the organization that they are branding themselves with. Hopefully they will get a clue and find themselves. And I am happy that one of the brothers tried to clear up the situation.

They are horrible. When I saw them, I was really outraged.
As a woman first, I wondered what would make them do that.
But you know, some people a followers...:eek:

Thanks for clearing things up from a first hand perspective, I didn't think that the fraternity as a whole would agree with such a thing, but not ever having been in a sweetheart org myself I wasn't sure if perhaps this was apart of some tradition I didn't know about.

I also saw those those pictures. Very UN-ladylike. :(

I saw the pics. IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO UNLADY LIKE. I just want to know why are they throwing up hooks, why are they branded like they are really OMEGAS???????

Why claim something that is not even your organization? Tsk, Tsk shaking my head........:rolleyes:
