Rush Question

Hey everyone, I'm brand spankin' new around here and I just had a question. I'm a senior in high school right now and I'm going to be attending Tulane University in the fall, I'm also really interested in going Greek and was wondering if anybody around here could give me any information on the Greek system there and what it's like. Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks you guys!:D

Hi Buttercup, welcome to GC! There's a lot to say about recruitment so I suggest you do two things...1) Checkout the website to the college you plan to attend and find out about what sororities are on that campus, then you can check out their main (and campus) websites. 2) Use the "search" feature at the upper right hand corner to look for answers to specific questions because a lot of your questions have probably been answered before. ;)

I agree with LeslieAGD. Good luck at Tulane! Welcome to GC. :D

Thanks a lot you guys;)

I probably should have worded my question better though. I've actually been lurking aroung here for a few days and I *think* I've got rush mostly figured out and I have looked at the actual websites for the specific sororities at Tulane.
What I was really trying to ask is if there is anyone around here from Tulane or that just knows about it who could tell me what the actual sort of Greek *atmosphere* (i don't know if I'm wording this right either) is like at Tulane specifically. I would love to hear whatever you guys know about it. :)

I know Juniorgrrl actually attended Tulane. You may want to PM her or maybe she will see this thread. I can't recall anyone else who has gone to Tulane, but there may be a "lurker" who will chime in. I have a cousin who is a Sophomore there, but he's not in a fraternity and I only met him once at a funeral. Sorry.
