the reunion movie will air May 19, 2002 during "May Sweeps" on NBC.

I hope it's not a let down like the Facts of Life.

I wonder if Lisa Bone (Denise) will be on there seeing that they kicked her off due to pregnancy. :confused:

Did you all know that Lil Rudy is a Delta! One of my friends from Spelman told me that.

Yes, I do know that. I remember when she appeared on "Weakest Link" and left the "strongest" one. :D :D :D The members of Delta Sigma Theta talked about it for awhile.

I was so mad she voted Screech from Saved by the Bell off, but sistagirl is smart.

I just heard on the radio this morning that Lisa Bonet has changed her mind and has decided that she is not going to be in the reunion show after all. She stated that NBC doesn't care anything about the reunion and they just want to make money....my question to her is where the hell has she been all this time living under a rock...that's all any station wants to do....especially during sweeps month!!!

Well, on the VH-1 thingy with Lenny Kravitz, she has changed her name to LilaQuoi (lmao@ that spelling, I don't think it's correct) Moon or something another.

Wasn't she like in the music business (jazz) or something helping her father out :confused:?

Not only was she in the music business, but she was trying to produce that chick who played Freddie on A Different World. SHe really has issues.

Has anyone seen Lisa Bonet in a while? Not really. She doesn't need to be acting "stank" about doing the reunion show because I honestly think that she needs the work. It's not like NBC isn't going to pay her.

There always has to be someone who messes up a good thing. The baby just needs attention.

Can someone please tell me what was the purpose of P. Diddy being a part of the reunion show last night? He could have kept his comments to himself:mad:

Why wasn't Michelle Thomas (Justine) mentioned or seen at all? It would have been a fitting tribute.:confused:

I had some of the same thoughts on P. Doody ALTHOUGH he and I do have the same favorite Cosby moment. TO this day, when I see that clip of lil Rudy singing "BABYYYYYY" I just about die laughing!

I really was curious to see what Peter looked like. It's about what I expected, lol. He was such a funny kid!

Man I really loved that show! It was such a huge part of my childhood....

Cree Summer's album was off the wall! LOL! I think the writing was pretty good actually, but the music was just nuts. Lenny actually helped produce the album, not Moon. :p ;) :D

Michelle Thomas died in 1998 from cancer; apparently she refused chemotherapy b/c she wanted to have children; sadly the cancer took her life.

I think b/c of the sensitive nature of her death, the writers & producers thought it best to not mention her at all.

I sooooo enjoyed the reunion special. It was so great to hear of the actor's reflections on their time with the Cosby Show as well as to hear what they thought about their individual characters...something that actors don't often have the chance to really do.

I was rather shocked to see Puffy on there as well. Although, now, he provided some honest and interesting commentary. He was supposed to represent the generation that grew up watching the show. Mr. "I need a girl" was our rep!

I was glad to see people like Peter who was my favorite non-Cosby kid. He just looked like a taller version of the Peter shown during the Cosby years. I was also happy to see Deon Richmond ("Bud") on there. He's grown into a nice looking young man.

Oh, Akatude, I thought that Justine was made mention of. I mean, it wasn't a tribute...but do you remember the clip where they showed Theo singing "JUSTINE, JUSTINE!!!" ? I think to have shown a picture or to speak of her even briefly may have been in poor taste....because of the tragic nature of her death. What could one say....while keeping things upbeat at the same time?

Here was my favorite commentary of the night...I loved it when Phylicia Rashad was talking about the fact that Bill Cosby sought to have his wife depicted as an intelligent and sophisticated woman. She spoke of how Bill Cosby's character, "Cliff" delighted in her intelligence. That sort of stuck with me..because Cliff did "delight" in Claire's legal skills, her Spanish, her quick wit, and her mothering abilities. And, as I thought about her words...I thought that is a great description of "Mr. Right"...he must be able to delight in my intelligence. Often, I have found that men are somewhat insecure when I begin to speak.
