Greek Week Spirit Crew
 

I'm on the Spirit Crew in my house for Greek Week--which starts in 3 days!!! We have made posters and noise makers (filled empty water bottles with beans or something). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to raise our spirit quotient. Thanks!

One thing that I saw at a RA Conference (SWACUHO) were these blocks of wood that were painted (Your Colors) that people would clap together. They were so cool and soo loud! They also brought these noise makers that you hold by a handle and they spin or swing in a circular motion (I forget what they're called). Those make a lot of noise. Also things like beans in a coke can. Spirit Sticks (Made out of wood) that you hit together. Thats all I can think of right now. Hope that helps :).

Lots of movement and color always draw attention. How 'bout making some tissue paper pom poms in your chapter colors? Cut the tissue into strips 16" long/1" wide. Fold them in half and tie them with a twist tie or pipe cleaner in the middle. Fasten them to a 12" stick (wooden sticks and tissue paper found at most craft stores).

The party supply store by my house actually carries premade tissue and plastic poms in an asosrtment of colors for like $1 each!
