yeah yeah yeah
ok, so i basically had a shitty night and i was hoping to get some different perspectives on a question i have. i need some honest opinions. if a guy calls you all the time (every day, sometimes more than once a day) is that more than friendship or can it still be considered friendship? i'm just getting some crazy mixed signals and i need your advice. thanks.

My daughter had this same situation her last year in HS. I KNEW he had a crush, but she insisted,"Oh, we're just friends."
It wasn't anything "passionate", just one of those things. If the guy is really involved with outside activities and has to MAKE TIME to call, then I'd think SOMETHING is there. However, if he's a video game junkie or watches TV a lot and hangs around his "home" quarters, it could be that he really likes just talking to you, and it IS friendship. Consider WHAT you talk about as well. What do you WANT it to be? This can color your assessment of the situation. |
Can you give us some more details? So far I agree with JAM, but without knowing anything more about the guy it's kinda hard to say.

The last guy who called me everyday, I eventually recieved a red rose from him.
Guys in general HATE talking on the phone, even to girls who they like. And, if he's calling you everyday, even more than once a day, I think he may like you. Would you constantly phone a platonic guy friend? |
I can relate, only it is through constant e-mail and it really drives me crazy! I just want to yell at him, do you like me in a girlfriend sense of the word or are you just passing the time?! haha.. He is a busy boy with ROTC, so I know he doesn't lounge around all day, but come on now. I've pretty much decided to read it for face value until he comes out and says something concrete suggesting there is more because I don't want to be strung along only to be hurt down the road.
