greek week!
Hey lovely Phi Mu's!!!
With greek week coming up (at least for us!) I thought it would be cool if we could all post how things are going! Last year, we got first place, and so of course we have such high hopes (and some great ideas) for this year. I'll let you know how the events go after they happen. I don't really want to post our plans for variety show or banner and have someone from my school read it! Anyway, good luck all! LIOB |
Well, thank god Greek Week is over!!! Rho Beta came in 2nd, but not by much. Whats funny is that the sorority that came in 1st had egged our cars earlier in the week, and just tried to make us upset and stress us out. Too bad taht they only made Rho Beta stronger than we have been in a while! We got first in a lot of events, such as Volleyball (I had a big part in that!), tug o war, football (after those girls had threatened some of my girls sayin that their blood was gona be on the field). We got screwed over big time at Mock Rock, and when the announcer (coincidence taht she was from that one sorority?) said that we got third, everyone in the bar booed, which made me feel so good to be a Phi Mu and be respected. Who got first? Yep u guessed it...that one sorority. Oh well....we lost with dignity and kept our class, and they just dug a deep hole for themselves!

We are in the middle of greek week here in Miami right now as we speak...
today was opening ceremony and organized cheer contest..our girls looked GREAT..and today was also greek god/goddess nomination day as well as greek graffitti (the banner contest) tommorow is greek knowledge bowl wednesday is greek olympics thursday is can castles and friday is closing ceremonies and a toga party so far our banner looks wonderful and our girls did a great job in cheer...we will see what happens by the end of the week..im super proud of my chapter for doing sooo much this year :D what better way to end this semester than by winning greek week...im so proud to be a PHI MU :D |
We're the champs from last year, and Greek Week starts this Friday!! We are so excited because PHI MU ROCKS!!! I'll let ya'll know how it goes!

Greek Week starts tomorrow for us!!! I'm so excited. We've come such a long way on variety show and banner... they are incredible and so many sisters are so amazingly enthusiastic. Of course I'm in charge of banner so I'm especially proud of it. The theme for the week is Greekstock, so there's a lot of retro things happening. It's a really fun theme. I'll let you all know what happens in the events! So Very Proud To Be Phi Mu!!! |
AHHHHHH greek week ends tonight and i cant wait already..its ending with the toga party tonight and they announce the winners of everything...it seems that we are the most hated on campus now because everyone is afraid we are going to win....we win alot of stuff :)
LOL jealousy is hillarious..watching them all scramble to beat us..Ill update on who wins!!! :D |
so... it comes down to tomorrow. today was so awesome, we took first in pyramid and first and second in egg toss, but we only get first place points, no one gets second place points. We are ahead by 2 points!!!! and at the end of yesterday we were down by 7! we are so excited, it's insane! i love it! tomorrow is rope pull, we have an awesome team and i can't wait to see what happens! i wish i could just show you how pumped i am about this. we have been such a great chapter these past few weeks, our spirit is incredible and we have pulled together so well!! panhel and other chapters have nothing bad to say about us, they're so impressed with out unity and how respectful we are being. our rival chapter hasn't been so impressive. aaagh, i'm so excited! i'll let you know what happens!

We placed 1st overall in Greek Week :D We won greek goddess, and placed in every event. they had a toga party last night to announce the winner and suprise suprise we won 1st overall...we got alot of jealous looks and stares but that comes along with being the best :) lol good luck to all the other Phi Mu's out there in Greek Week, show them all how wonderful Phi Mu is! Hey, Phi Mus!! We won Greek Week AGAIN this year! We won 3 of 5 individual events and are SO excited! Also, we're initiating 6 new Phi Mus this week. They are so cute and make all of us proud!

So I never let you all know that we ended up second this Greek Week. But we're so pumped about it bc we played fair. And, after all the festivities are over, our chapter still gets along great and we love each other.
It is good to know that so many other Phi Mu chapters are taking first! Phi Mu is quite a powerhouse!! LIOB |
The psi beta chapter, which is my chapter came in 2nd place for greek week and also won chapter of the year. Also congrats to all who did well and to those who didnt you will next year dont worry.
