Where do I start?

Ok, now that I know there are Fraternities at CSU, MB but the ones that are there/will be next year, aren't exactly want I was hoping for. One is a Hispanic and the other is a Honor/Extention. Not that I have anything against them, they're just not what I'm looking for.

So.......
Where do I begin?? How do I go about starting a new Fraternity or the equiviliant? Any websites, books, etc that you can recommend to me?

Thank you in advance,
George

Greetings,
Well there is a lot to think about in this process. Whether you are starting something brand new , or whether you are chartering an already established Fraternity. Also whether the organization will be Social, Service, Co-ed, Honorary and so forth.
Also major ideas to ponder would be , to think about why you want to create this organization, why will it be different from the rest, what will it stand for and etc..
Also check out Greek Letters, to see which ones have been used and situations like that. A great website for this information would be
http://www.greekpages.com/localsonline/start.htm

also try http://www.geocities.com/localsororities
( Although you are starting a Fraternity, I mentioned this because this site has a lot of helpful resources :D )

P.S. I also sent you an email :)

Really? You're responding to ten-year-old posts. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the people you're responding to aren't in college anymore and aren't interested in starting a fraternity anymore.

Especially one that has been a high school fraternity for 100 years.

Oh good grief, I didn't even catch that part.
