To whom it may concern, I would first like to apologize to those whom I have offended. I tried to express my concern with the amount of space provided...for that I am sorry. However, I wanted to address the fact that Most legacies regret being called legacies because of the same reaction that some of you exhibited. When I said I have paid my dues I only meant thru helping my mom and attending social functions that her chapter has of which I enjoy...for that I am sorry if it was taken out of context. In reference to hazing, most legacies are hazed because some "sisters" don't like them ; therefore belittling and chastizing those who worked hard to get where they are. Legacy does NOT secure membership....I understand that. But it is because of a few that makes it hard for legacies like myself unwilling to address questions to members or even mention being a legacy. I have yet to figure out why I shouldn't be PROUD of the fact that my mom is part of such a great sorority and I am a product of her. It is one of the few precious parts of her that she can pass to me! I truly prefer talking to other members of the sorority BECAUSE they do have a different perspective. In fairness, I understand your anger. Sorry:)

Legacy, I have to say, this post really helped me to understand your first one, because I was completely lost. If you check my post to your other AKA thread you'll see what I said about doing a search. You will see that this topic has already been discussed.

btw, try not to post threads with the same title. It's confusing!!
