Pledge's April Fools

Its April fools. They're pulling a prank I think based on what I read in their IM conversation. They said they were all quitting. So our secratary is emailing them, saying that he contacted IHQ and they were all depledged. I hope they are just effing around with us. Cuz thats just plain mean.

During meeting, our CCD stood up and announced that our annual Mr. UK Pageant, which is next week, was called off because there was a scheduling conflict with the auditorium we're using. Everyone's jaw hit the ground. We've worked for MONTHS on this, and I was floored...until our president couldn't hold in the laughter anymore, and we finally figured out it was an April Fool's joke. That was evil! :p

In our meeting today our president told us that some sisters were at a keg party last week and got caught and nationals put us on social probation. She said that our formal was cancelled!! She let us sit for a minute and get mad then said april fools...I was so mad because I had just bought my dress this weekend. That was scary!!!

Everyone needs to keep in mind how harmful these fun pranks can be.

Really? And how is it that a fun prank can be harmful if it is april fools? It's just fun joking around, I don't see the harm in it.

LOL, here is an update to mine. IT turns out that the marshal, our pledge trainer, put them up to it. So he knew it was April Fooling. But he didn't know that the email the secratery sent saying that IHQ knows they quit was an April Fool's get back. LOL he crapped himself when he read that, he thought the secratary really depledged them with our international (thanks to candada!)head qaurters hahahahahaha LMAO!!!

Our vice president told us that our national said we couldn't participate in Greek Week. I knew she was joking, but there was that tiny bit of me that thought maybe she was serious. So taking a chance, I yelled out "Yeah right". Our president and advisor couldn't hold a straight face so it didn't work :)

Oh man, that is so f-ing funny. I think I would have crapped myself too! We were on Easter Break so we didn't have a meeting. I wouldn't have even thought to be that creative....MAN!!

April Fool's

One year, two of my brothers placed one of their girlfriend's on a University tour on April Fool's Day. As the tour passed by their dorm, the two sprinted out from behind it, grabbed the girl, and yelled, "We got one!". That one I like.
