Jazzercise
Does anyone here go to jazzercise, if so, how do you like it?
I am thinking about joining that, or Curves for Women. Havent really heard too much about it. All i know if that its strength training and there are machines you do for a couple of minutes and then switch stations. It lasts about 30 minutes. I want to go and check it out, but has anyone heard of this place?? Too bad all the dance studios near my house either a). dont offer adult classes or b). they offer classes when i am either at school or at work. I am not about to join a dance class full of teenage girls who have been dancing all of their lives. :) I was in dance classes for about 4 years in high school but havent done anything since then. |
What exactly is the definition of "Jazzercize"? Is it just a dance/aerobics class?
|
Yes, Jazzercise is an aerobic/dance class but at the actual Jazzercise, they offer different types of classes. The class i was thinking about taking was the "jazzercise" class. I dont know which is better.... aerobic class or strength training

I wouldn't do Curves. From what I've heard, it's just a bunch of machines that work out for you using hydraulics - no real results - it just moves your body around. Its a lot of older women who can't move very well, which is why the machines do the moving.
I've been thinking of taking Jazzercise with my mom - its dirt cheap and looks like fun. Lots of dance and fun music. And lots of class time options. |
