The Afterset(Colemans please reply)
 

Hey Family, I was just wondering how aftersets are done where you are at.

Some regions have it where after the stepshow(or party, whatever) if there is an afterset, it's Sorors and bruhs ONLY. But some other regions have it where everyone is invited to an afterset.

I'm just curious how you guys feel about "all greek" aftersets. I crossed in 96(I know that's old to some of you:p ) and when I crossed, after a stepshow it was just the Colemans at an afterset socializing and bonding. It seems now that things are changing. How do you guys feel about that?

Its always been a Coleman set strictly, except for maybe a few extraneous honeys or interests. I guess that it depends on who set it up. The last one I went to in Feb was strictly Bruhs and Reds.

Its always just been Sorors and Bruhs. In fact when I was in college we only disclosed the location to the Coleman family. That's how it should be. i have been in set outs were others have been there and they were told to leave.

lol well times have changed, me and another bruh were talking about why everybody is at the afterset and he explained it to me like this:

When The Delta's hold an afterset, it's pretty clear it's Coleman's only. But when the bruhs do it, unless it says "Bruhs/Sorors ONLY" then expect to see other sororities at the afterset, because it's not a diss to us, but bruhs just like being around as much Estrogen as possible, no matter if they are GDI, non-Delta, etc.

I told him I saw his point, but I still think it's shady.

Greetings fam! Just wanted to add my $0.13 into the pot. I have been at aftersets where on;y Bruhs/Sorors were allowed, been at some where everyone was allowed. But I was road trippin' to one NASTY chapter where only BRUHS and SORORS were allowed in the house and were the only ones who could eat the food. I mean GDI's were not even allowed on the porch. And it was unbelievable that the set was still crunk. But you got to love the Bruhs! ROOF!!
