Great Active/Alum experiences
 

Today I attended a "Phi Beta birthday party" hosted by my former collegiate chapter (the chapter turns 70 on March 29th!!)

I had so much fun and saw some old college friends I wasn't expecting to see. (Including my roommate of 3 years, who never joined Phi Beta, but always ended up at our events and hanging out with us).

I have been so impressed with the alumni chair & the entire chapter this year! There have been joint events for actives and alumni every semester, as well as newsletters about every two months just keeping everyone up-to-date. And I have seen the best turn out, from both active members and alumni, because she has worked hard at getting the word out to everyone (even those older alumni who don't use email and you have to pick up a phone and call).

On top of that, she and the chapter president took it upon themselves to help start an area alumni chapter by getting everyone together and presenting the proper paperwork.

I'm just really stoked right now about the group- they always make me so proud to say I'm an alumin from their chapter!

Anyone else have any good active/alumni stories to share?

I always have great stories from my chapter.

Since they are so new to campus they make strides everyday.

Lately they have risen 4 spots overeall in Grades and rasied 1500.00+ over last year's total for their 2nd Shamrock Project!

The women work everyday to improve and although it will take time to be the strongest, if they continue on this path they will be there soon!
