panhellenic recruitment rules-please help!!
Please help!!!
Hey ladies, i have a question for any of y'all who have a campus with four or fewer Panhellenic sororities. I am the new panhellenic president at my school, and we are dealing with a panhellenic mess. our formal recruitment rules are a disaster. Totally outdated and because of this AxiD has been having terrible recruitments the last few years because we tend to go by rules that the other sorority "forgets" . It has been a problem but we have not had a panhellenic that has known the rules and inforced them. I have decided that enough is enough. I have been talking to my AxiD area advisor as well as the panhellenic advisor for help, but what i really need is an example of formal recruitment/standing rules that we can use as a guide. If anyone can be of any help it would be a life saver because we are kind of stuck. thanks so much! xi love and mine dardar216@aol.com |
Here's the link to the panhellenic web page at New Mexico State University.
http://www.nmsu.edu/~gogreek/pha/ They have 6 chapters that participate in formal recruitment (Alpha Xi Delta, Ceres, Chi Omega, Delta Zeta, Pi Beta Phi, and Zeta Tau Alpha). The web page has alot of information. If you have any questions, just PM me, I have helped Theta Omega chapter during formal recruitment for the last 4 years. The greek system also does a good job of publicity. The members help with move in days. They have signup tables all over campus before recruitment starts with manditory hours that groups must be at the tables. Good luck! |
