Sorors has the following ever happened to you? Before I start let me first say that I'm a mocha brown sistah...

I'm picking my daughter up from day care and a UPS worker says "Hi" to me and I return his greeting. He looks at the tags on my car and says, "AKA huh?" And I say "Yes." He responds by saying, "I thought all AKA's were light skinned." Being the smart a$$ that I tend to be I responded, "Well I guess I passed the paperbag test."

Needless to say I was :mad: ... and still get :mad: to this day just thinking about it. Has anyone else experienced this???? Just wondering:confused:

Any intelligent person would know that Alllpha Kappa Alllpha women are comprised of a variety of skin tones,shapes and sizes.The Lord saw fit to make it that way!! As an added bonus we also have minds full of knowledge and good looks too...
