Responding to a Challenge

I'm following up on the Tau Chapter challenge.
I was talking to one of the girls from the Beta chapter last Thursday about what their chapter is like. I was kind of distraught that I couldn't really come up with anything to tell her about our chapter besides the usual things.
She told me about their barn dances - where they just all met together one evening at the barn and had music and food and just danced all night. She also mentioned other little things the chapter did like go skating together or how they would get together and watch an episode of Friends (or something of this nature) for their informal meeting every now and then.
Other things like this were mentioned and it made me curious what other chapters were doing.
What makes your chapter different from the others? What kind of fun things are you doing to keep sisterhood up?
I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks!

hey

I know one of the things that all of the girls in Omicron chapter is looking forward to is a weekend camping retreat in the fall. We're inviting alumni and everything hoping to improve contact with them. A couple other big things we do are the haunted cornfield in October and theres a group of sisters working at the MO state fair this summer at a pork chop booth. Thats really only a start. We do tons of other little things too, including a recent trip to visit some of the sisters down at Mizzou.
Your sister,
Anita

The Nu Chapter likes to pick themes to liven up some of our traditional events. For bid night this semester we had Hawaiian theme. Everybody dresses to the theme and you try to have food and decorations that correspond. Our activation was red, so everyone wore red clothes and we had red streamers and light covers. One time we had a dinner with Farm House that was 80's theme.

When we hosted our regional convention last year we had a theme for each activity- Hawaiian bowling, Mexican lunch, Western Dinner and Toga Casino night.

A couple of years ago we had a Survivor party where we all got together for one of the Survivor episodes and we had dirt desert and gummy worms.
