Has your sorority been represented in a beauty pageant?
 

Hi everyone, I love sororities and I LOVE to watch beauty pageants: Miss America, Miss USA, Miss Universe, Miss Teen USA, you name it!

Anyhow, I just wanted to poll everyone and if you know of one of your sorority sisters who participated in a pageant, and if so, to please post her name, sorority, the state she represented, and the pageant name (with year)

Well, not exactly a beauty pageant...the College of Engineering at OU has a rich and long tradition (80+ years)...part of that tradition is choosing a Queen every year, who represents the College at Homecoming and other occasions. I know last year in the Miss America pageant was an Alpha Chi Omega from I think North Dakotah or somewhere up north! Sorry I can't be more specific, I just remember being told to keep an eye out for her!

Miss Texas this year is an Alpha Chi!

Which pageant though? Miss USA or Miss America?

Also: equeen, you didn't say the name of the sorority! Can you tell me which one it is.

homecoming queen '94 university of alabama Lambda Zeta Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,Inc.

Zeta has been represented in many pageants, I see names/etc. in our magazine quite a bit. Phyllis George Brown, Miss America 1971, is a ZTA.
