Deepest Sympathies

I just want to extend my and my chapter's deepest sympathies to the AOPi ladies in the wake of the death of Lauren Weiss. Lauren was a member of AOPi at the University of Florida. I feel priviledged to have known her, if only casually and for a short time. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Sincerely,
Dale

Thank you for the kind words. My thoughts and prayers are certainly with her family and the chapter at this time.

I think I must have missed it, but could you tell me what happened.:(

AOIIBrandi:
Lauren was driving home for Spring Break and she lost control of her car on the Turnpike. She was hit by another car and both drivers were killed. They haven't determined what made her lose control, although they (and I) don't think that alcohol was involved. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,
Dale

That is tragic! I would also like to extend my condolences and the thoughts and prayers of my chapter for her family, chapter, and school! We know that she will be missed as a sister!

Roses,
Sarah

Add me to the many AOIIs who are sending our best thoughts and wishes to Weiss family, the UF AOIIs and all sisters everywhere.

Roses,
Christin

Hey girls,
I'm a sister of the Gamma Omicron chapter here at UF and on behalf of all the AOII's here, I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts. Lauren was one of my pledge sisters and she is truly missed. It means so much to all of us how the Greek community here and AOII chapters from around the country have supported us in such a tragic time. Once again, thanks to all of you.

Love and Roses,
Jessica

Lose of a member

Its always hard to lose a member. I remember my freshman year we lost my grand big sister, and it was rough on each and every one of us, but our sisters from the Kappa Omega Chapter were here for us. I'm very sorry for the lose of another member and my thoughts are with you in the coming year. The chapter will go on and be strong but the memories will always be strong and dear. :(
