Do Any Of You Do Serenades?
 

I thought it was odd that my chapter had no clue what they were. Do any of you do traditional things like the greek system does?

We do serenades every semester with our girls...it always seems to be a semester favorite...

Our chapter has done sernades since its MC class. Its a fun night and sometimes the highlight of the semester

We do serenades every semester, but we approach them a little differently. We call them "butter ups" and we bring gift baskets to the houses that we want to do social events with that relate to the type of event that we want to do, such as frisbees and sunblock for a day at the park or plasticware for a dinner exchange. We usually accompany this with a cheesy little skit because none of the women in our house are vey musically inclined. The frats love it, and we have a great response from the houses we serenade, ag related or not. We just serenaded five houses and we are expecting them to serenade us back this Sunday night.
