Happy 10th Anniversary Delta Sigma Chapter!
 

Okay, so we were actually founded 10 years yesterday on March 14, 1992..but because I was so busy, I didn't have a chance to post.

Nina heard about my drama not too long ago, but I wanted to fill you in on what happened to me this afternoon...plus my cousin's doing my hair so I have some time to kill.

I told my mother to get my dress ready for the Rose Ball tonight, but it's nowhere to be found. I looked in my closet and hers and I couldn't find it! I left a msg for her at work, but she was unavailable and her supervisor said that she wasn't allowed to go and get her because my situation wasn't emergency enough! :mad:

So I tried on dresses from formals and semi-formals past to no avail. Apparently I've gained a few pounds! :eek:

I rushed down to Macy's (which is, thankfully, only 10 minutes away) and solved my problem with a really cute (and cheap!) black dress!

It's a good thing I'm going by myself tonight. If I had a date I think I'd drive him crazy.

eek! I'm glad things worked out! I was getting worried there when you said "eh, I'll just go to Macy's"-- picking a dress out takes forever for me. lol.

The formal's at our campus ballroom and I have some time to kill and catch my breath...so naturally I'm in the office taking care of some inventory before I make my grand entrance.

I simply couldn't find my dress. My guess is that it was buried somewhere in either my closet or my mom's because the last time I wore that dress was in Atlanta for the Feast of Roses at Convention. I looked EVERYWHERE for that darn dress.

I briefly chatted with Nina on AIM and told her that I found a really nice $50 black dress from Macy's. I saw that dress immediately after I got off the escalator and I was outta there in 15 minutes! I think it's a new world record.

Alrighty...time to close up shop here. Even though I don't have a date (the QB Nick is 'occupied' tonight :rolleyes: ), I'm still excited.

Sandy, finding a dress in 15 minutes is not only a world record, but an act of God! You were very lucky! Hope you had a good time!
