Do Not Know If 1 St Post Made It or Not!

I know this is out of sorts as refers to Alums, but I think if all would read it, it may make some sense!!

We almost lost our Charter 4 Years ago and I really got back involved! Some of you know this! So is Repeat!

I started a Core Group to build a new House as ours was built in 1895, first house to electricity in Pittsburg KS,
well with 30 years of young men going though it it is a shambles and unsafe!

While we had No Alum Support as the Active Chapter did not promote it, we now have a strong Alum Group working with the Chapter!

Check Out our Alum Site and see what a few other Brohters have done to get back into the Fray!

lambdachizeta.com!

One Brother never did anything but can you guess which one is now? He is in charge of the New House Building Group!

We are looking at trying to raise $700,00.00 to build!

Read some of the few things and see what Fraternalisim is whether Fraternity or Soroity!

I would really like some Oppinions as it is still on ongoing problem as not to long ago, we were one of the largest Chapters on Campi but we are now one of the Smallest!

I think the whole Lambda Chi Zeta wesbite shows great fraternalism and it is very nice to see alumni coming together to help out actives in anyway possible to preserve the past and help the future. I especially liked Mr. Rambo's Keynote Speech on Founder's Day and his lil pun about your emails :) But what I really liked was what he said about his brothers and LXA helping make him the man that he is today. I think getting the new house could bring in a lot of new brothers. Kinda like a fresh start. I think you should put some information about the House Corp members on the site, such as why they joined and etc. Its great to see alum so active. Once again I applaud LXA-LXZ. If only everyone could be like this.

Hi Tom,

I've just read your post and had a look at the site. I think that the website does a pretty good job of explaining the project and it's costs. I agree with UMgirl that it'd be nice to see some personal information on the House Corp members.

Also, I thought that the transcripts of the speeches were good; but, in a way, they lack "oomph" 'cause they're like reading in the third person. In other words, if I was an alum who just happend to visit the website, the words of the speeches are written in a way that it sounds like they only apply to people who were listening that day at the dinner. Perhaps you could have the man in charge (or anyone really) write a personal appeal directly to the readers?

Or, maybe you can ask alums contribute stories about their days in LXA and some stories about the goodtimes had in the house itself. The reason being that maybe reading about all the great times will help stir up some passion for the rebuilding project. Or maybe it's just too girly of an idea. :)

......Kelly :)
