those crazy squirrels!
 

Okay, so, when I'm on campus, I find myself "squirrel watching." Today, I was walking home from class and I found these two squirrels chasing each other and playing what looked like "follow the leader"...one squirrel would run in a circle and stop right behind the other squirrel and then the squirrel would do the same. It was soooo adorable! Anyone else had any fun squirrel run-ins recently?

yesterday I went to the Arb with my friend Drew (for those who aren't from around here, the Arb is the U of M Arboretum, 167 acres of nature. So awesome on a nice day!) and he pointed out a true squirrel that was a lot smaller than regular squirrels and faster too. I looked at it and I THINK it was a real Grey Squirrel!!!! I didn't think we had them in Michigan, but I guess we might!! He was sooooo cute! Much cuter than the big fat Squirrels that are everywhere!!!

speaking of giant fat squirrels. i'm visiting up in maine right now and every morning i get to watch this fat as hell grey squirrel try to eat out of my fiance's parents' bird feeders. it keeps falling off of it but it just keeps getting up. determined little booger eh?

well...we have a lot of squirrels around campus...but it always seems like every Initiation, i'm driving to where we're going and i've got all kinds of almost initiates in my car and i come thisclose to running over a squirrel. it's horrible and embarrassing, but so far, i haven't hit one (knock on wood!!)...could you imagine running over a squirrel in your white dress on INITIATION DAY?! oh, emily helen butterfield...have mercy on my soul! ;)

we had a girl in my chapter that just hated squirrels, I dont know why, but she used to sit on her porch at home and shoot them from the porch! horrible huh?
oddly enough, I keep meeting this people who absolutely LOVE squirrels, and they all want to join! lol

Monica, that's terrible, but it's also hilarious! I'm sitting at my computer laughing to myself like a lunatic! ;)

This last Saturday, I *too* became the victim of squirrel hazing. Two big gray ones jumped out in front of my car, and I had to swerve out of the way.

Luckily, all two-legged and four-legged creatures were fine, but I guess those squirrels did not realize that I was an Alpha Gam! ;)
