Great publicity for Gamma Omega Ch. of AGD!!!
 

Hi everyone. Maybe, JenAGD can add to this story as well. I was watching the local Birmingham news on TV tonight. They did a story on the Univ. of Ala. at Birmingham having a dance-a-thon fundraiser for the Children's Hosp. of Ala. Anyway, one of the first things I saw was a huge AGD banner in the gym and the girls wearing their AGD jerseys!!! It was great pulicity, and exemplified the AGD Purpose.
Jenifer, I saw Fran Box on TV! I was extremely proud of all the UAB AGD girls for their work!!!! Great job! Lisa

Hooray for us! Lisa, I unfortunately I didn't get to see our girls on tv. I know they put a lot of work into their banners and participation though.

yay! my signature is like p. diddy! i love it! :D actually, my sig. is kinda weird...me and ilovemyglo were on our way to murray state to visit the alpha gam chapter there last year (she was VPR, i was new member, we wanted ideas), and she was telling me this story about this girl who got up in her class when they all had to introduce themselves. ol' girl was like, "all my life i've wanted to be an XYZ...and OH MY GOD---I AM!!!!!" in this real twangy/ditzy southern accent...it was priceless..and at the end of her intro, she said, "learn it, love it, live it! XYZ for life!!!" and ever since then, it's kinda been our thang. ;)

And yet more great publicity for AGD-GO!!!!! I saw a bunch of them on tv for a volanteer community school clean-up sponsored by a local tv station. You guys are the greatest!

Oh, God...it wasn't me was it? My best Alpha Gam girlfriends and I were at a local school (Huffman Elementary) this past Saturday doing the Into the Streets/Fox 6 School CleanUp. The news guys came to film us (we were all in our letters) and I was hoping that I was blocked from view of the camera from one of my friends. We were busy cleaning lockers. Not the day you want to be on tv, when you've been up since 5:30a & cleaning dirty schools all day!
