I can't be doing **THAT**
 

As you've gotten more older and mature, have you found yourself acting/behaving, saying, emulating your mother, father, grandmother, grandfather or nurturer?

What is it that you are doing (like your mother, etc.) that you never thought you would have done when you were growing up?

Although, I'm still young I REFUSE to ride anymore of those DARN rollercoasters and no more SCARY movies!!! ( I'm still young enough for nightmares LOL)

You know what.....I find myself asking my mother to call if she is going to be out late and I wait up for her and interrogate her like she use to do me.

girl, i do the exact same thing. better yet, if she says that she's going out, i ask her 50 questions before she leaves and 50 once she gets back. don't let her get back later than expected. i will blow up her cell phone. i'll even go so far as asking if she needs condoms.

guess the tables have turned :) my turn to be worried about her.

my mom is a neat freak. we had to be out of bed and rooms cleaned by 10:00 on saturday and sunday. my mom vacuumns monday-saturday and sees every piece of lint on the carpet. Oddly, when my friends come to my place they say they can't set a drink down before I start wiping up a spill. And while I hate myself for this, I also look for spots, lint etc. on my carpet.

If my mother and I were out and she has to drive home (about 40 miles away) I make her call me when she gets there. If she doesn't call by the time I believe her to have made it home, I call and put her on blast for not calling. I get more and more like her every day. I even married a man that looks and acts like my dad. Dat is some scurry isht!:eek:

...I am very much like my mother!! :eek: :o My Mom is also a neat freak, and needless to say (although I am not as bad as her) I am irritated :mad: by the not so neat habits of my roommies...

I also interrogate my mother about who she is going out with and when she will be returning, staying up worried if she takes too long to return. She has the nerve to say she's going "out" when I ask her where she is going!! :mad: I have even gone as far as called up her freinds and relatives to find out where she went if she neglects to tell me where she's going and has been gone a while (and this will be in the daytime!!!)...I DO NOT PLAY when it comes to my fam...

I spoil my younger siblings just as my mother spoils me too (I guess that's an oldest sibling thing). I used to give them orders and then turn around and get mad when my Mom gave me orders! I know I will be like her when I am a parent ("Dangit don't question me just do it!" , "Because I said so!", "So-and-so is NOT YOUR MOMMA!!!", etc.)...I figure as much as she got on my nerves if I turned out okay then she did something right! ;)
