fuzzies in need of an advisor...
 

Hello All,

I'm from the University of Toledo in Ohio... Our advisor has been diagnosed with cancer and has had to pull back from her position in our sorority. She has tried to find a replacement, so has our nationals and of course our own chapter... unfortunately... this has not proved successful... So I am reaching out to my sisters to see if anyone might be able to help us... Not having an advisor or any alumni support (only been established since '96) was a the major reason (besides money) that we were recently not able to get a house on campus... which has been very devastating for our girls... It's been a long road without a house and a tough struggle to get one and we seem to be overlooked everytime, though we are one of the best chapters on our campus... If you can help or just want to throw a little moral support our way... we'd appreciate it...

I just wanted to say good luck on the advisor search and being from an unhoused chapter at Oregon State on a completely housed campus is a struggle. But we here at Alpha Delta are doing well and are 45 strong! So we understand how tough it can be without a house and know that the Alpha Delta chapter is thinkin about ya girls. :)

I have a suggestion... it might be a bit of a stretch, but we had the most delightful ELC ever visit our chapter and she was from Ohio (Beta Tau at Kent State University). She might be able to atleast guide you in a direction. Perhaps she could contact an Alum chapter in Ohio, or give you information on who you could contact. There seem to be a lot of contacts listed for Ohio on the national site. You can also get the e-mail address for the best ELC ever! :) Her name is Mel.
