Ya'll, I am so excited that they are re-releasing E.T. back into the theaters!! I can't wait to go see it! Although it makes me feel old-has it really been out for 20 years? good lord!-I can still remember seeing it in the theaters when I was a kid. My mom would always have to take me out of the theater at the end when E.T. was leaving b/c I was bawling!:D Then, I would convince her to take me to see it again, and that I wouldn't cry, but guess what would happen at the end?? :D

Is anyone else going to go see it?

I want to see it again, good childhood memories. I think the new animation and new added parts to the film will make it even better.

I dont think i ever went to the movies and saw it, since i was only a year old or younger! I do still have the tape to it though!! When i was younger i loved that movie, but now i dont care for it and wouldnt want to go see it at the theatre!

wow I saw the trailer for it a few days ago, and all I can say is just wow, I can't believe they are re-releasing it. It makes me feel soooo old,lol oh well more childhood memories or something like that. Oh but they said they added some things that weren't in the first one(kinda like the director's cut) so I wonder what thing will be different. Guess I'll have to go and see eh

I remember going to see E.T. with my sisters and my mother. My mother wasn't really into it because she thought that it was a children's movie like the Muppets. My mother fell in love with E.T. We had so many E.T. dolls. Wow! The memories. :D I will probably go to a movie theater and see it again!

I'm excited, but I've heard that along with adding stuff he also took some stuff out that wouldn't be thought of as PC :mad: I hate that everything has to be PC now.

I'm very excited about seeing E.T. on the big screen. I think it's a movie masterpiece. I was born in 1982, and my mother went to see it while she was pregnant with me!

I was 4, so I don't remember if I saw it the 1st time round our not, but I'm definately going this time and I can't wait :D

While I think its cool its being re-released, I'm not in favor of the CG work that's been done on ET. ET looked more real as a puppet than a CG creation.

This is ET, not Toy Story. Leave the classics alone!

I wasnt born when it came out but I do love the movie!! :) its the best ever I used to have an E.T. doll when i was like 2 or 3 lol

I had the pleasure of Having Cujo and ET mother in my store several years ago! She had just lost her husband. One of my customers said there is Cujos mother I politly told them to shut the F up! Was She ET's Mother?

11 hr day and getting as old as dirt hard for me to stay awake this late!:(
