What sorority has a little brother program?

Most fraternities have littles sisters even thought there not supposed to. How many sororites do that for little brothers?

This may be a stupid question but why aren't you suppose to have a lil sis program. It is my understanding that a lil sis is a person, female obviously, who isn't in a sorority and still helps the chapter out. Please let me know if I am close or way off http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Supposedly the reason is little sister and little brother (for the sororities) programs take time away from the maintenance and programming of the chapter itself, i.e., you should spend time making your brotherhood better rather than on a little sister program.

Having one sweetheart, now that's OK.

We have a big little brother program but I can't tell you where I am at so we don't get in trouble.

Actually - the reason most fraternities have policies against lil' sis' is due to the Title IX provisions that allow us to remain "single sex" orgs. The thought is that if the lines are blurred, it's might be possible for someone to challenge our single sex status in court - in other words, a female could sue for membership in the fraternity. Most lil' sis' programs used to have separate - and recognized - induction proceedures and in some cases rituals. I heard that some girls actually did sue for initation rites, but never confirmed that story.
