In regards to the Southern Belle Primer..I checked it out from the library and finished it very quickly (like within an hour or two). It certainly was interesting, and having grown up in a small town in the south, I could really relate to a lot of what was said. Some stuff I found hard to believe still goes on today, but you never know. I would suggest getting it from the library rather than buying it, but that's just me. It was pretty good though.
If you're looking for humor...you might try reading Bridget Jones' Diary and the sequel Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason by Helen Fielding. I really enjoyed the books much better than the movie and I was literally laughing out loud :) |
