Conventions
 

hey now that everyone is getting on the ball with having local sorority conventions, and such. I think it would be aneat idea to have a Up and Coming National GLO convetions or a Multicultural Greek life conventions.
What do you all think?

I think that Would be a great Idea. In the future there can even be a nation governing board or conference for MC Greek orginization

I agree that as a whole the MC orgs could learn a great deal from each other. Ok all, well I'll email some folks and see what I can get in the works :D

MC Conventions
 

A lot of these conventions and councils already exist. Check out www.latinogreeks.com This website is full of information on Latino and Multicultural Greeks. There is also NALFO: National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (I think that's what it stands for).:p

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't NALFO only open to Latino Greek organizations? I think it would defeat the purpose of some MCGLO's to join unless they have a high number of Latinos.

NALFO (National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations) is an umbrella council for Latino Greek Letter Organizations. The purpose of NALFO is to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education.

Established in 1998, NALFO has 22 member organizations from across the United States. We meet bi-annually for Conventions and to conduct Business Meetings.
