upset (NEED ADVICE)
I rushed as a sophomore and ended up without a bid...
I am eligible for spring recruitment, but I don't know if its worth it. I NEED some good advice on what to do, and what the sorority women think about this situation |
You got a bid freshman year. You quit pledging. Unless you would have gotten to know many many members of a sorority very well in the interim, rerushing this year probably wouldn't have worked out. That's often the case even in very small and less competitive Greek systems, let alone something the size of UF.
If you were truly unhappy in your chapter after really giving it a chance, then you were right to drop, but if you dropped because you thought you could get something better, that backfired. |
You are known now for dropping last year. That doesn't always bode well in a competitive SEC recruitment. You could try COB but you better take whatever you get - IF you get anything....

You've started two threads on the same topic.

Read the thread I linked for you in your other post. I think the advice there is a good place to start. You may have a second chance, I believe there is a colony coming to your campus, if you go where your user name indicates. Colony recruitment is no cake walk, but if you can put in the work, it might be worth a try.

What happened your freshman year? What made you feel so unhappy at the house you originally pledged?
