Alright, all you Alpha Chis... what are the official rules on affiliating... Does she just show up, and is accepted, or do pracitices like voting, etc vary from chapter to chapter... I know at mine, we voted to accept an affiliate just a few weeks ago. The thought of having to get "re-rushed" and have an entire house of girls approve you or deem you worthy, AGAIN, makes me cringe!! augh! well, insights and experiences would be appreciated

Hi! If you haven't yet, you should post this in the AXO forum. Or you could contact your National offices; they would definitely know the protocol on transferring. :)

AXO affiliates must be voted on by the chapter. It isn't like re-rushing. We usually have the girl over for dinner a couple times to meet her and we talk to an Exec. member from her original chapter to get a recomendation.

We had a girl affiliate one semester and she actually lived in the house that semester too-I am not sure if they voted on her (ie exec. council) I know I didn't-she was very well accepted. She was awesome-smart/pretty and outgoing so they may have just said-ok your in.
