Introduction
 

Hi, I'm Cricket.

Someone was wondering about a sorority called "Sigma Iota Chi." I was a member of this sorority in 1959 at East Texas Baptist College (now University). We had about 20-25 active members. There were less than 20 Sigma chapters nationally. It was not affiliated with National Panhellenic like most of the major sororities now.

I think the original Sigma Iota Chi no longer exists. But it appears there is another by this name that was founded in 1989 at Pace University.
