Preparing to go through Recruitment in Fall 2016 at Ole Miss

I am planning on going through recruitment at Ole Miss in the fall of 2016. I am from the NorthWest. Can any one give advice on how to prepare a social resume and how to locate Ole Miss alumnae for recommendations? It appears that having Ole Miss connections will be the most beneficial for recommendations and gathering letters of support.

You do not need Ole Miss alumnae to write recs. Any ADPi, AOII, XO, DG, KAT, KKG, KD, Phi Mu, Pi Phi, DDD can write a rec to their respective chapter at Ole Miss. There is a great example of a social resume in one of the stickied threads in the recruitment forum. Just try googling it.

You need to have your recommendations sent in around June of 2016
1 or maybe 2 recs for each chapter is all you need.

"Connections" at Ole Miss means friends with the actives. It is probably late for that, but being out of state is always an issue regarding connections.

Go ahead and get recs lined up. Alph Phi will be on campus then, so dont forget to get a rec for them. Just go into rush with an open mind and please ignore "tier talk."

Here's a good guide to a social resume: http://brazosvalleygreeks.blogspot.com/
(This is from the Brazos Valley Panhellenic Alumnae Assn. -- that's the area around Texas A&M.)
No more than 2 pages & I would paste your photo in there too.
If a HS Senior is visiting any university, I advise them to stop by the Panhellenic Office (great way to meet the sorority members who work in the office), as well as go on a campus tour and ask for someone Greek as a tour guide (great way to have a conversation about Recruitment).
