Song Ideas
 

Hello ladies,

I'm an MC at the Gamma chapter (Michigan State University) our pledge class is so excited to be MC and can't wait to be activated. We were wondering if you all had any ideas for songs, both serious or silly to share with out actives.

Some of our previous rush classes have done "re-mixes" of great songs like the Dukes of Hazard song, the We are Family song, and there are a few songs in the song book to funny tunes like Oscar Myers!

For our song last fall we did Sister Sledge's "We are Family" and changed it to "We are a sorority." We redid two verses and the chorus and did a little dance with it. I think the sisters were very impressed. :) Good luck with your song!

Our classes ended up writing our own serious song and we have changed the words to a fun song too. We have also written a class poem and are very excited to share it with our actives. I will post everything later (Who knows if one of the gamma girls lurkes around here and we want it to be a suprise :) )
