A&m Rush

I am an incoming freshman going to Blinn. I applied to A&m and didn't get in or didn't get Blinn team. I was really looking forward to Greek life but now I'm not sure if I can since I am not a A&M student. Are you allowed to pledge while your a student at Blinn? Or can you rush Junior year?

eta: I am not sure that I read your post correctly... are you simply enrolled at Blinn in one of their associate's programs or are you in the program leading to transfer to A&M after 2 years? If you are simply a Blinn student, then it does not look like you can rush an A&M sorority.

Have you read the information posted by A&M? Understand that A&M says that you can participate in recruitment. That does not necessarily mean that you get a bid. Good luck!

I think there may be a difference between being a student at Blinn and being accepted as part of the Blinn Team. It seems that the OP was not accepted as a member of the Blinn Team.

I THOUGHT she was enrolled in the TEAM (guaranteed A&M transfer) program, which would allow her to rush. In re-reading the post, I think you are right. In that case, she wont' be able to participate in A&M rush because she is not an A&M student.

Y'all are right. There's getting into Blinn (yea Brenham!), getting onto Blinn Team, and getting into A&M. If you're in the first group, you may not rush because you're not an A&M student.

You can rush if you go there junior year but understand that your options will be rather limited.
