How do I show the sorority I like that I am interested
 

Hi guys! I'm currently going through recruitment right now.. I was invited back to Sisterhood skit day yesterday, and the day before was Philanthropy skit day. I fell in love with this particular group of girls during philanthropy day (Which was the 2nd day I was invited back.) I felt as if i had one of those cliche "lightbulb" moments with the girl that talked to me that morning. Today, is preference day.. How do I let this particular sorority know that I love them and that I'm not showing fake interest in them? (I have been being myself, don't worry :) ).

I haven't and I won't say anything like OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS INVITE ME BACK... and lay it all hot and heavy on them. We've all seen those guys on the bachelor who have literally been on the show for 5 minutes and say things like, "I can picture having a family with her." hahaha :)

I think you can let them know that you are interested in their chapter in a polite and subtle way by saying things like "I've really enjoyed the time I have spent visting your house and learning about your sisterhood. I feel like this could be the place for me.", "I feel very at home with everyone I have met here", "I could see myself contributing to your chapter". I also found that flattery sometimes helps: "Your pref ceremony is so beautiful. I hope to be a part of a sisterhood that is this close."

To be honest, if you're at Pref you're okay to blatantly say "I hope I get to run to you tomorrow." or something equally as unsubtle but honest.

Good remarks. You could cry like a baby at Pref....like I did. (yep. rolling eyes here)
Or just say, I LOVED it and had such a good time!

What happens on pref day?

Do you mean during the Pref party? Every group is obviously different, but generally they will do their best to show you what their sisterhood and membership means to them. It is their last chance to connect with the girls that they think will be good sisters that will contribute to their sorority. It can be very emotional.

all great advice, particularly the crying :), that will prob just happen. you can also mention that their skit, philanthropy, etc was your favorite of the week. the actives may ask you some leading questions to try to determine your interest in their chapter. listen carefully and you will most likely have an opportunity to let them know your feelings in a subtle manner. they are not supposed to outright ask you what you are going to pledge or to offer you a bid. good luck and enjoy yourself!!

I would just say, "Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome. I can really see how close your sisterhood is and I would love to be a part of it."
