removing officers

I just needed some advice... I was on exec and then due to circumstances such as switching majors having more credits than I thought I would getting ready for grad school, GRES, possibly taking grad classes in the fall and not being full time ( which you need to be in order to live in the house) I got removed from my office ( which I thought would happen) This happened before and the girl it happened to was never recieved warmly again... I know that I need to look out for my self and that everone reaches a point in time where they have to grow up and I guess I reached mine, but still.... i guess i am having mixed feeling about this I mean I know that I have to grow up but what ever ... any advice ?

Don't beat yourself up just because you had to leave office. Sometimes people just stretch themselves too thin and some things have to go. You had a legitimate reason for leaving, so why should they have hard feelings towards you?

Anyone who would treat a brother/sister differently because they had to give up an office due to moving on with their lives (grad school, etc.) obviously doesn't understand what the word "brotherhood/sisterhood" means. They've apparently joined their organization for all the superficialities of parties, gettin drunk, gettin laid, etc. They don't get the whole purpose and they probably never will. The simple fact that you do already proves that you are more of an exemplary XYZ (whichever organization) than they will ever be, so don't worry about them. You've already proven yourself for what you are and so have they.
