I was reading the bitch post and thought it was a good idea to get things off your chest, but I thought i would start a thread so people could talk about all the good things that happened to them in a day!

I just wanted to say that I have the best sisters in the world, I just broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years and they have been nothing but supportive!! They have given me the boost of self-esteem that i need! I love my sisters!!

I think this a great idea to have a place where you can post the good things that happened to you! I went to a club the other night and I saw a of my sisters and she stopped everything she was doing just to come over and say hi. I thought that was really nice of her. Especially for the fact that I'm a new member. I love my sisters too! ZLAM- UDZETA :D

Yesterday, when I went to pick up a prescription, the pharmacist was wearing a cute little red bow-tie. I just have to say that it made me smile.

Cool idea.

Our son, who is a National Merit Finalist, just got a huge scholarship offer. It's not from one of his short list schools, but it is from a good one.

Hopefully, more will come.

Also, he opens as Ren this week in "Footloose" at his high school.

And I became a grandfather for the first time 4 months ago! (I married very young...right!)

Some things are working well!

As I mentioned in another thread I just got my dream job this week. To add to that...while waiting for almost 2 hours to take my drug test on Wednesday I started talking to another girl who will be starting at the hospital at the same time as me...anyway we have decided to be roommates :) I just got off the phone with her and she is so awesome and we seem to have a lot in common. I'm very excited and we're going to go look at places on Monday :D

I also am so thankful for my wonderful network of friends. They have been such a huge support system for me (especially over the past few months) and I don't think I could have made it without them. Even though we are scattered throughout the country now I'm still in touch with a few and it's nice to have that.

Umm..one more thing. I had a wonderful trip to West Palm Beach last weekend. It was great to reconnect with friends and we had a blast celebrating my friend's bachelorette party. We also got to try on our bridesmaids dresses for the first time and they are gorgeous and fit beautifully. Her wedding is in April so I'm looking forward to another trip down there :)

i am so happy for my wonderful friends that are there for me through everything under the sun and the fact that I finally have gotten my own APT!!! I am so excited !!!

I'm so happy that it's almost spring.
I'm happy that my sister's are welcoming me back with open arms.
I'm happy that my friends are standing by me and helping me through tough times.
I'm happy because I just re-loaded my satallite for Audiogalaxy and can get all the songs I want now! (silly, but sometiems it's the little things that make you happy)
I'm SOOOOO happy it finally stopped raining.

I'm just busy posting today, but I'd like to say this was a good idea to have this thread. Oftentimes we get so wrapped up in our complaints and whining, that we forget how great our lives are. I know for one I'm extremely happy just to be where I am today. The major goals that I have set for myself either have been achieved or are currently being fulfilled. I'm just glad for everyday I have to start anew and make the most out of the life I am given. I hope you all feel the same. Its interesting how quickly the "bitch" post has so many replies in such a quick period and the "thankful" one is relatively small. Lets really dig inside ourselves and show our gratitude for that which we have.

I just wanted to NOT bitch about my sisters above all...they're the best thing that could have ever happened to me :) they are always there for me and help me out whenever I need it!! I also am very glad to have my great friends greek and non greek they are always helping me out with tough stuff and so is my family :D

Im almost 18 so Im all happy!! hmm just 2 months and 15 days left!! I can't wait!!

Its starting to get warmer too so Im happy!
hmm I dont know what else to write right now but Im sure I will be writing more later!!

OK, things that make me happy:

-My fuzzy bunny
-Visiting my wonderful great aunt today
-Getting a $60 sweater for $12.50!!
-My awesome sisters
-My recent raise/promotion at work
-Watching the American Experience. Yes, I know I am a geek, but something about this program always makes me feel very peaceful and ready to face the week ahead. :)

-I am happy b/c I had a great time at my big sis's bachlorette party Friday night-we don't get to see each other very often
-I am happy that I spent the weekend with my mom
-I am happy that I found the coolest boots at Foleys for 28$ and there ain't a bit of leather on them
-I am happy that I am free and able to do whatever the hell I want (within the law of course;) )

I'm happy that I survived snow camping this weekend without frostbite or coyotes making a meal out of me.

And I'm happy that a really great boy kissed me yesterday.

I'm grateful for not living in Afghanistan or anywhere else I might be woken up by having a bomb dropped on my head! Not that I'm against the war on terrorism, but I wouldn't want to be any of those people right now!
