Joint Ventures
Hello Sorors and Greek Family
I need some idea of joint events. Could people please respond with events they have done in the past with other black greek organizations. I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance |
Some good ones I have seen is two sororities working together on a program on images of Black Women and self esteem.
A Pan Hel Group doing a clothing Drive, Relationship Forms sponsored by One Fraternity and ONe Sorority. Feed the Homeless Program and more. the SPhinxpoet |

LMAO. I thought about the fact that it didn't deal with her sorority, BUT it is a JOINT VENTURE. So, if there is a representative from a frat out there in cyberland, then, he can take the idea and run with it.
:D Well, for Sororities: The same thing could be done, just flip the script. Meaning, change frat to sorority and males to females. :D I don't know about no dayum Ms. Cleo. LMAO! She's in Florida, I'm in Louisiana. :D ;) We just see "I" to "I". We here, as Martin would say. |

Another program I am trying to get started here(the Pyramids) is a 9 Day Pan Hel Voter Registration Program - Every day would be a dedicated day for an org like day 1 would be AKA Day and AKA would choose an area to go out and have the 9 orgs go with them and register as many people as possible that day....the Next day would be Alpha, Delta, Zeta (Doing the Pan Hel Flag People) and ect Ect! At the end of the nine days we would have a voter registration panel form for canidates that are running for offices and give VIP invites to those that registered under the program..... Sphinxpoet |
Thinking outside of the box...
Back in the day, I was thinking about something. Where I'm from, many of the organizations have their own "house", "building" whatever you want to call it. And in one place, an organization has 2 sites within a few hundred feet of one another. I was like  wtf?
Anyway, I thought why don't the organizations in the area (any area/city) pull their financial resources together and erect a site where ALL the organizations will be represented (whoever donates money for property and building). Each president would serve as the representative for the "board" that they would have. The financial secretaries of each org would keep the records. Then, the secretaries (of each) would come up with the schedule for their meetings, committee meetings, and intake dates. Each organization would have an office. And each organization could use the building, as long as permission is granted from the board. I don't know if this would ever become a reality, but that was a thought I had in my mind a few years ago. Now, that would be a unifying element. Is it possible? |
